I just use Chrome everywhere (home, work, phone, tablet) and it syncs everything real well if you're signed in. I have a "to read" folder I dump stuff in to go through later.

Attempting another switch thanks to this post. Installed on desktop and all mobile devices, settings imported from Chrome, everything set up with Firefox Sync... we'll see how it goes.

They're powerful machines for sure. I just can't see myself buying a "desktop" machine that's non-upgradeable and has an integrated monitor. It's basically a big laptop.

Please excuse the venting here for a minute. After "can't innovate anymore my ass" Apple released their architectural dead-end trashcan Mac Pro in _2013_ we have to wait until _2019_ for an update? What am I supposed to buy?

I appreciate the DRY-ness of it, but that requires you to type 'up ...' which is longer :( A while ago when I was bored I was thinking of golfing those aliases to say (pseudocode): for i in 2..6: alias '.'*i=

> The notion that the Python core devs get to decide when Python 2 should stop being used is not cool. This is incorrect. They get to decide when they stop supporting it. Of course that's within their rights, and a 2020 sunset dat

It's ok, other powers at work here. The lady who I likely would be married to had I wanted children was into permaculture, so I take the unlikely turn of conversation as a little dig from Him. > Tell me more about that. Groaning at

Fwiw, I didn't mean to imply that my wish that people stop making more people was due to fears of overpopulation. (We have so much empty space left! And new technologies to discover, and so on.) Rather, it's based on my own desire

Upvoted you. People here tend to be intolerant of any religious opinion. Edit: I'm a believer and desperately don't want children. Dunno whether this is an inconsistency in my faith or just how I'm built. This whole thread is

Recent News 2013-12-23 Cobra 0.9.6 has been released. Maybe because this is Hacker "News" and Cobra hasn't had a release in 4-5 years is why it's not mentioned much.

ArangoDB is also a graph database. Many of the benchmarks (shortest path, neighbors, etc.) are specifically geared towards graph databases. Neo4j is totally appropriate in this comparison.

So this is why "Agent" has been asking for my root password randomly recently? It doesn't need root to upgrade itself or its games so I had no idea what it was doing. I'm glad I kept denying it.
