But phones are not exactly the same thing are they ? You are supposed to put a magic leap device on your face which then projects images onto your retina. Even if Apple and google gain AR experience, magic leap could still be game changer

I think you missed googles recent announcement for ARCore. They seem not that far off as it will also work on older phones to some extent.

No, A See-through phone is something Robert Scoble predicted since last year, but i never bought his hype and even the AR stuff is not really ground breaking.

of course they would not reintroduce the headphone jack, Apple does not do such a thing. They just accept that they did it too early and sit it out.

Audi has a new System in the A8 for traffic jams that works only up to 60kmh, but is designed to be left alone completely. The germans seem to be starting from the bottom in a conservative way working up, while Tesla is much more aggressive

since i am using docker-compose locally, i have little use for vagrant nowadays. For staging and production the docker containers run inside a Kubernetes environment which i don't want to replicate locally. Am i missing something ?

getting uncomfortable within an hour sounds like a lot of interruption and overhead during a full day. I try to concentrate my activity: cycling to and from work, 1 hour workout 3 times a week before or after work. During the day i sit a lo

not sure, from my experience most companies still prefer on-site and when they offer remote, it's more of a tempoary perk not meant to be used permanently. Also salaries seem to be lower/high paying remote jobs are harder to get.

I use Onenote a lot for handwritten notes and also web clipping, and even for typing its fine and has been around long enough that i don't really worry about it going anywhere. Since it's included in the Office365 subscription and

There are a lot of contracting gigs and it should be easy to find stuff if you are experienced in web frontend, backend or mobile development. Hourly rates go from 45-80 EUR/h for "normal" dev work depending on your experienc

Yes. Rent obviously went up a bit, but not dramatically though and the rest pretty much stayed the same. Good food is incredibly affordable here.

What are those 130k jobs you have seen as an example? For pure dev roles, i haven't seen much above 80-90k EUR (which is still a lot of money in Berlin) Even the one you posted has a range from 80-130k, i doubt 130k is really possible
