This is the way. The only places I've worked at/for as of the last 2-3 years that don't heavily rely on managed services were an absolute disaster. A lot of "not invented here" syndrome. A lot of anti-patterns and

No, I definitely ignore recruiters. Internal recruiters I may respond, but if you're some consultancy firm or recruiting firm I'll never work with you. My skills are in demand. When I want a new job I'll reach out for it. I

This title spoke to me. I work with some very talented engineers. I often feel like I'm asking stupid questions. A couple coworkers treat me like I'm an idiot. But I don't really care. I'd rather know than have an ego.

This is marketing BS. S3 buckets aren't vulnerable to ransomware but maybe your configurations are. Not to mention the article sets up S3 being vulnerable as if your credentials that access those S3 buckets were compromised.

How was it an advantage to the Colonies? It's not like they had a Navy at the time. We depended on France for that.

I noticed this on a closet section I just built. A day or two after finishing it would still scratch but now that it's been a while and it's in the closet being used it doesn't seem to scratch.

I was going to say, I've looked at local statistics before for my area and found out the city and local municipalities have a ton of employees. Typically the biggest employer in your city is going to be your city, possibly your county.

I wonder how it looks if you consider all the companies running on AWS and the engineers that only use AWS. 1 out of 153 working for Amazon, but I guess what I'm wondering is how many depend on AWS.

You're only going to compare with 2020? The year we were all in lockdowns and quarantining? You don't think that'll skew things? Trends occur over many years, not just two.
