You are required to help people in need, but not at the expense of your own safety. Calling 112 is enough. Abortion is not about killing, it's about not having a being in your body , potentially wrecking it and killing you. In the sam

When a fetus does not need somebody to spend their time and pain hosting them and risk their health and life doing it, then we can talk about this. Even if it was not a fetus but an adult with a fully formed conciousness and personality, th

Some people are running Windows XP on that network, since that is what the instrument was certified with, and have less problems. Since my software is tested and does not run in Linux I'd rather say run Windows XP and keep very frequen

Meanwhile, can Microsoft please add an option to Windows10 that says 'this computer is only connected to an internal on-board network and satellite connection, please never try to update'? That was an expensive mistake as well. I

ESA engineers have told me: If it looks good it will work well. So they seem to have a lot of experience with this, although their sense of aesthetics might be impacted by their work.

If anything, you'll make a bunch of kids mushroom experts, just like some of them take to dinosaur names like maniacs. It sounds magical too, very fitting.

It's bad for the customers who are not being served something they require to live normally. If my company was the only one making food and we had too many customers, that would suck hard, no? The market is too slow too and hindered by

We also have a severe lack of housing in Germany right now mostly due to this intra-EU migration. It's good they all found jobs here, but if you are in the market to rent right now it sucks hard, especially at the lower end. This needs

We don't really know yet. It seems to be connected with the sun and CO2 variation, but it is not clear what drives that variation. Today we drive the variation, and into regions that haven't been seen for a looong time, so things

The sun is not to blame for almost all of it (just a tiny little bit). This is quite easy to figure out since we have data on the sun and Earth's orbit and the relationship is simple.

Hm, how about a show about a robot pirate ship (in space or today's world) and either some hackers in a basement or a 3-letter agency on the other end? (Maybe leave it ambiguous for a while. Or maybe they fight each other for control.)

Hm, yes. At least in this case we have proof NASA really knows what they're doing since the probes usually get to Mars. For climate science we will only know in a hundred years or so.
