I agree. It seems perfectly in line to get rid of all the things you actually don't like (but failed to notice in daily life) and replace them with things that make you happy.

Careful coiling and then securing the coils with string in 3-4 places workes well for me. Coiling should be done while paying heed to the cable's preferred direction, if there is any tension it does not work well.

There are no border officers checking people in almost all of the border crossings. If you look white (=> probably not an illegal immigrant) being checked is extremly unlikely even with manned borders. He might want to wear a shawl or si

The papers all stress that wind farms are considerably better than fossil fuels no matter what, so 'accelerate' is maybe not the best way to put it. I propose 'influence'. However, the consequences from each technology s

The current problem we have is the energy imbalance between incoming solar radiation and outgoing thermal radiation, since a growing proportion of the latter is blocked. Any quantity influencing this balance could theoretically be used to g

Interesting question, seems it's still open but has been found worthy of study. There are probably research groups working on it right now. Review paper (2015): 'Impact of wind-energy generation on climate: A rising spectre'

There is a rare practice where you (for example) separate them just for the night and milk the cow in the morning. During the day, the calf will take the milk. Yes, you lose a lot of the milk that way, but apparently your vet bill also goes

How do the logistics of this work? Did he bring one cow or several? Or is one cow enough to cover the sales of the day? Or is there a stash of cows nearby and he exchanges them? Are they on different milking time rhythms? So many questions.

More CO2 might not be a good thing for plant-based carbon sinks: Some plants with less stored carbon might outcompete others, lowering the sink storage. This issue is quite involved. https://e360.yale.edu/features/the-s

There are answers imaginable that are not related to energy efficiency. (Not saying you're wrong, just thoughts.) How about people needed per ton for example? A train conductor can be far more efficient than a pilot on that metric.
