Offline maps such as Gaia don’t work on Tesla so that is it failing at its job compared to CarPlay

It has a far more limited selection of apps and Some I use daily are not available so it really doesn’t matter if it works better because for me it doesn’t work at all.

You can brew install mas (I think) and then install/manage Mac store stuff via the cli pretty easily

the problem is they are making more money by having a few units empty while renting the rest at higher rents. the landlord is making more money, people are being squeezed for all they got, and less people have homes. this is a huge drag on

But this is why the eu case made more sense? It went after Apple for not allowing side loading of app stores vs this one which seems to be going after what Apple does on its own store?

And Canada already did this with immobilizes. We also used to do bait cars. Both these things helped a ton, until the new wave of weak car security Iirc the Kai stealing spree didn’t hit Canada as hard because of said immobilizer law too

Put it inside a vm, set updates to manual, once every few months snapshot/backup and upgrade. If it fails rollback.

no? it seems to be the exact same rules as canada? > new cars sold in 2035 and beyond are zero-emission vehicles which includes battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles.

a hybrid is still a hybrid that you can just keep filling up with gas and never plug-in.

That’s literally the one I was talking about, it will still permit hybrid and there is no requirement for everything to be a BEV
