Cad software has lots of options now. OnShape is another one that is cheap and pretty good.

True, but at this point their reputation is kind of burned for me. I'm not confident that if they have challenges come up with rp2040 production that they will be able to compensate quickly.

Given that Espressif was one of the few companies not to fail during the supply chain crunch I wouldn't hesitate to use them. Unlike the Raspberry PI Foundation.

Could be true, could be a convenient lie. It's not like Elon is above the trust thermocline anymore.

Except that seems risky as hell. Much better to have everything aboard ahead of time instead of hoping everything goes right with a en-route logistics chain.

Looks like Twitter will get sold off at a huge loss in a couple years. Is there anything like old twitter out there? Twitter with an open API during the Arab Spring was kind of an amazing time. I guess really it's all about TikTok at t

Because Elon insists on everything being controlled by machine learning. Hence why rain sensing and headlight both have the most complicated software in the industry and the worst performance. I say this as some who likes their model 3 but

You can probably just ignore them as a concern at this point. Nobody is going to want to use them in new products. They might keep going as a educational novelty but the magic is gone as far as using them in commercial/industrial produ

This is purely dependent on what SD card you are using. If you use a random cheap SanDisk off of amazon it will probably corrupt and fail eventually. A SLC or pSLC industrial card has better ECC, write longevity and power recovery than a co

SQLite is probably not compatible with community contributions. They seem to be very optimized to the stability and reliability of SQLite rather than features. Which is why people use it over other solutions.

I would say technical debt is a better problem to deal with. At least the project is alive at that point and you are able to get feedback from actual users.
