Yeah "toot" is not great and "post" isn't specific enough.

by karlshea 3y ago
It would be super annoying if it ends up co-opting the word "thread" in general.

Did you forget you’re a speed reader when asserting how long it should take to read the whole article?

That just isn't true. There are many cars where it's impossible from within the car to see certain places behind it without the rear camera, no matter how your mirrors are set.

Why is it so hard to fix your processes instead of relying on the HN Support Forum for the privileged few that know it’s an option?

Lemmy has the same issue as Mastodon: what instance do I join? When looking at the "migrate from Reddit" page the two obvious ones are lemmy.world and beehaw.org. But now they don't federate with each other, so it's down

There's a bunch of Minnesota breweries doing some amazing sours, and many of them are only around for a season or two before they switch up the fruits. I'm so happy about it because I was totally burnt out on IPAs. And now that ev

I don’t think I totally agree either but your argument for the position definitely has some merit.

I've been making Drupal websites for 15 years, and especially lately now that its code is modernized wouldn't touch WordPress for any reason... but simple Drupal is not. It can be very simple to administer if the site is built rig

A huge percent of filers have one or two W2s and no house, and that statement is true for them. The giant tax prep industry can still be there for everyone else.
