That situation was also following Nvidia spoiling one of Steve Jobs' announcements even further back, so there was already a bit of bad blood.

That’s where Agilebits has me; the UI on Mac and iOS is so much better than the alternatives. I do keep looking, Keepass XC looks really good since the last time I checked around.

I wonder where a historian will even be able to read anything at all from this time. Most of the discourse on this has been online, and who will have archived Reddit and Tik Tok?

I love Ubiquiti, but that's because I'm a home user. I'd never deploy them for a customer. It was obvious Protect was going to be the only solution going forward as soon as they announced it years ago. I can't fathom the

I don’t like it as much as iOS. The interface paradigms it uses I don’t enjoy. It’s a little too Linux on the Desktop for me.

The problem with a $200-400 Android phone is that it runs Android. I don’t want to use Android, so it looks like that won’t work for me? Not sure where fashion enters into it?

Great. Maybe you can explain why "Adobe Desktop Service" needs 2.16GB of memory wired with no Adobe products running (including the Creative Cloud app) and sync turned off.

Is it though? Why declare publicly at all then? You’d just be giving the impression that when you do collect the data you’d be cherry picking, exactly like what’s happening here.
