Do you honestly think that there MBA education made them like that, or maybe in fact it was their general attitude and disposition? Do you honestly think that MBA graduates attract high salaries for no reason? We live in a free market econ

I completely disagree. This is just another selection bias. The loudest, most obnoxious MBAs are the ones you are most likely to hear about. Saying that MBA programs nurture extreme arrogance, bad ethics and short sightedness is like sayi

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Getting an MBA does not mean someone will be boring, unmotivated and unethical. If a predominate number of business leaders and executives have MBAs then certainly a majority of the mistakes

One reason I'm skeptical about this is the the United States has a ton of debt (this is a definite fact), and someone had to lend us the money. China has over $1T of U.S. Treasury Bonds. It might be plausible that they have cash flow prob

Don't know if anyone will see this comment, so long after the post came up, but I wanted to add that obviously this was not the saddest thing I have ever read, nor do I value trees more than human life. There was, however, a dramatic mood s

National entitlements and obligations are at about 100 trillion dollars (medicare, medicaid, social security etc.). This is based on estimates made by David Walker who was the head of the GAO under Clinton.

I don't necessarily agree that you should only get an MBA if you want to work at a large company. Getting an MBA from a solid business school allows you to interact with a lot of smart people with similar interests that you can both learn

The reason AT&T was banned from refusing to connect certain calls is because they have a monopoly-like presence in many areas. With no other means for customers to make those calls, AT&T was taking unfair advantage of the fact that

I doubt that when he conceived of this month long project, he had a "celebration of wasting resources" in mind. It was probably more like, "I'm going to meet some cool people and fly to 50 cities".

This is a good analysis, but I'm still curious why Apple, known for excellence in every area, including customer service, has such a shoddy app review process. In my opinion, it just doesn't fit within the way they approach everything else
