I think this is a fair summary of what we're getting at. There's still plenty of usability stuff we need to work on. The focus of this article was on emotional design. Based on initial feedback (and somewhat anecdotally) I think we built so

Thanks for the feedback. This isn't the first time we've heard this.

I think it's fair to withhold judgment until we have a better idea of impact on conversion, etc. 1. For us, that's exactly what we wanted. It's Mike Kus' style applied to our product. 2. The mobile app actually looks quite different. If you

I'd love to see a post somewhere that explored some of this stuff, since I don't have a clear understanding of the arguments / precedents for both sides.

This looks cool, but I wouldn't use it yet because I have no idea what I'd be getting (this coming from someone who has used the far more expensive usertesting.com) My first reaction seeing this is that you've basically hooked up mechanical

The promo video is great, and had me smiling the whole time. John's voice is recognizable and hilarious.

If you want to see who out of your group of friends wants to watch a movie, are you really going to IM / call / email 25 people? Organizing stuff is a huge pain in the ass. Whereberry gets you doing stuff with people you wouldn't ordinarily

You can buy your brother a GiftRocket to a place right next to where you live, like a coffeeshop down the street. Yelp also has a lot non-businesses. For example, here's one in the middle of the Presidio in SF: http://www.giftrocket.com/se
