DNS is a hierarchical protocol. You can exfiltrate data as long as the DNS server is resolving recursively.

From Haskell I guess. Just not real world Haskell. I have never written more than a few hundred lines, but I've read a lot about its concepts in the abstract (and partially applied some insofar as other languages have let me.)

Aren't green threads and async-await orthogonal concepts? As I understand it async-await is syntax sugar to write a state machine for cooperative multitasking. Green "threads" are threads implemented in user code that might o

Can anyone point to a "practical Haskell" tutorial/book/whatever for people that already know functional programming? I'm in this sour spot where most tutorials are boring to me so I just can't follow through.

Not sure why you're downvoted, RC is definitely a form of GC even if not a tracing GC.

Now I'm curious, how does it GC cycles, if at all? EDIT: from a brief search: it doesn't.

But op means memory and data safe, without a GC nor a runtime, so it can be used as a systems programming language. For "some reason" people only talk about Rust in this space!

I might be misunderstanding here but... what you're saying is that Rust programs can still have bugs? Isn't that the same as other programs except Rust prevents the most disastrous and common bugs that lead to most CVEs? If I got

In my experience from these threads, there are more people polluting the discussion by complaining about Rust "acolytes" than actual acolytes. Rust haters seem strangely obsessed.

Well, so far this thread has 0 people shilling Rust, a couple shilling Common Lisp and a bunch complaining about Rust shills (you included). Makes you think, huh?

This is because null coerces to 0 in JS so this is effectively 0 <= 0. NaN is already a `number` so no coercion happens. Note that == has special rules, so 0 == null does NOT coerce to 0 == 0. If using == null, it only equals undefined a

I suspect the terribly generic name "Matrix" isn't helping. Guess what's #1 in Google when you search for Matrix, IRC and Discord.

If you think about it IRC is the same, but making an IRC server is much harder so nobody does it, while creating a Discord server is so easy you'll have too many. IRC is also different in the sense that it is federated, but when most p

That sounds like an Android issue, not a TLS issue. If I need to break TLS I can add my own CA. Not having TLS is not the solution. Google will find other ways to take control from you.
