   1. Lower your expectations. It’s normal to not be able to get along to strangers, more so with someone you have no common interest / background. 2. People mostly only care about themselves, so it’s ok if they reject/ignore/r

   Basically Bandit algorithm: balancing between exploitation (doing same things that already work) vs exploration (try out new things)

   Wooing/mocking other people do feel good. At least for short term. It makes us ‘feel superior/luckier’ over others. It contributes nothing good to society tho.

   TIL. This seems to be waste of paper/time for consumers. What is the incentive for publishers by preferring wordy version than terse one? Is it because they afraid of being perceived as not worthy enough to be a book?
