As a mathematician I use the generic she as it's got a better expected value if you're optimizing for being right.

Or you just decide you don't need to manufacture that thing after all. There are a lot of situations where "redesign so it doesn't need that version of the part" is cheaper than "build a US factory, train workers.&q

I agree with most of your comment, but the difference between bra fitting and shoe fitting is that you don't want to change the shape of your foot. Most women do want to change the shape of their breasts, even if not consciously: for i

I gotta say, you are speaking as someone who doesn't have a lot of experience. 1) Freedom of motion? I wear a sports bra that flattens out my boobs for many reasons. First is prevention of pain while running, etc. -- that vaunted '

I just searched this page to see if anyone had mentioned this subreddit. It is really useful. Follow the measurement guide carefully and look at recommendations of brands. I did so, ordered four styles, and had 2 solid wins, 1 ok, and one &

It's more charitable to assume that this would be a set of six+ colors from pale to deep. You're making unwarranted assumptions. To respond to your point below, all major manufacturers now make a range of "nude" colors.

The word is not really offensive or embarrassing per se. I think part of the parent's point is that it's remarkable how often in the books swarthiness and evil intent correlated, which is a legacy of racial attitudes.

The sibling commenters here have it right -- and I'll add that reviewing and similarly reading grant submissions are tasks that benefit the researcher as well. Sure, it's work, but you stay on top of the new stuff in your field, d
