So funny to see this pop up in this discussion. This is quite possibly my favorite Twilight Zone episode, and it had a similar impact on me upon seeing it (although that wasn't until ~2005 as I was working my way through the series in

I leapt into your comment to profess my love for the TWA Hotel but saw you actually mentioned it towards the end. I fly a Melbourne => JFK leg a couple of times a year and the fact that I can grab the AirTrain for one stop and then be at

There are (multiple) companies in the US who already do this via in-store cameras and secret shopper monitoring. I know this because I've worked with them.

What tantrum are you referring to? Didn't he just silently resign?

How this has not yet been made into a film by the Cohen Brothers starring George Clooney I'll never know.

I'd argue that the humiliation of arresting and imprisoning someone for a single speeding ticket is the only anti-social occurrence here.

First off, I'm sorry for your loss and I appreciate you sharing this. Did you have a format or a set of questions that you started with? My last remaining grandparent is still in relatively good health, but I'm always cognizant of

Having done repairs/replacements on both a Thinkpad X1 and a Framework, all I can say is that the process is not remotely comparable.

My older brother is an alcoholic. I suspect it's somewhat cliche to say, but when he's sober he's the nicest guy I know - almost nobody else I'd rather spend time with - and when he's drunk, he's chaos. The pas

So, first off, I appreciate the link - it's a good article. But it seems to suggest that there is no firm right or wrong in it's usage, but rather the context of the usage is what's important. Would you not agree that the usa

Is this actually true? I haven't traveled through South America at all, so I'm genuinely curious. If I meet a presumed Chilean and ask "Where are you from?", you're suggesting they'll respond "I'm Ame

One marked downside of all of this growth is that Netlify's paid support products have really deteriorated. If you need a support response in less than 48 hours, your only recourse is to saddle up for their full $2000/mth enterpri

I've often felt the difference between a junior developer and a senior developer is that a junior developer believes anything that isn't in-the-seat, headphones on, IDE cranking isn't "real development".

I'm fully aware of what they're talking about. It's common usage in Tailwind to extract large collections of the utility classes back into reusable component classes which can be applied with a single @apply directive [1]. Th

I doubt the parent is talking about applying each of the tailwind util classes directly, but instead wrapping that combination of classes up into a reusable component to be applied around.
