As an aside AFAIK many financial advisors have used aggregation services (CashEdge, ByAllAccounts, uMonitor), which require their clients to log in and provide essentially the same access to their financial institutions, for quite some time

Apparently after being acquired by Intuit, Mint started using the Intuit aggregation framework. They seem to have made the transition fairly transparent as I had no idea it had switched.

If you haven't done this already I would take as much time and care mocking up drawings and explaining how your system will work in lay terms. This will be good for 2 reasons, 1) you'll continually refine your concept and 2) it will provid

Some of the major payment processing companies provide ACH services which would simply require the users' routing and checking account number. A few years ago I used Cybersource and they provided ACH transfer, I think it was like $.10 per t

I couldn't agree more. If my close friends and family used twitter and flickr there'd be no reason for me to ever log into FB. Despite the enormous number of users I can visualize a mass exodus from the service, it's harder for me to do t

Sadly this is exactly what the CEO of a company (maybe all companies?) I worked for would do with his projected sales chart...and he still has his job. Now THAT's funny. Good work :)

A note to anyone who wants to play games powered by the Source engine, don't upgrade to 10.6.4. The graphics performance is very poor. I will bootcamp into XP just to play source games. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.ph

Looks really well executed. I would definitely do some legwork on the operator front. I tackled this same problem about 2 years ago and found that operators simply aren't able to understand the need for this type of service (maybe it was

Do you have any information about the automatic updating? I had been interested in their API that seemed to have disappeared (now I know why). Also do you have a link to your site? edit I found the information, here: https://www.wesabe.

The location thing is definitely I could add now. I like the map feature suggestion and hope to have that integrated into the second iphone app version. Thanks for the compliment and the reply.

That's part of their full site. If you're accessing from an iPhone, Android, or Blackberry and haven't disabled Javascript you should see a mobile friendly version. Other devices may display it differently.

I worked on this problem for about 6 months, I had built a simple hosted solution, for restaurants in this case, that the operator could build a mobile version of their site that was viewable on iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. The first f
