It reads to me as kind of petty sniping that's unlikely to really contribute anything useful to the conversation. But not something that really seems worth hiding either...

There's very little tech that somebody is going to hire you for knowing. It's a tool like many others. If nothing else, spending a few days playing with it will give you an idea of what it's good for and if you want to contin

That's fair, but also: sometimes the customer going away and not using the product anymore is the correct result for both sides.

Even if users don't read them of their own volition, they're still valuable. You can copy/paste responses from them, link to them, or hell just use them to remember the answer yourself later without having to confirm it or ev

The Pixel phones have been generally quite good, especially if you stick to the lower end ones and wait for a good deal. The photo software is great, the support period is good, and there's just no real big complaints about the rest. P

Tamper-proofing those should be relatively easy with the techniques in the page at least. The difference being that someone would have to copy the whole glitter pattern to a new casing, (or open up the existing one, so you'd have to ma

A possibility, but not a good one. Depending on your goal, you either care a _lot_ about the raw number (in which case doing that calculation is _insane_), or you don't care really at all (so...why would you calculate it?).

Basically the same 1/verymany chance, but that doesn't matter. The difference is that there's no particular reason to choose these numbers to start with. There _is_ a reason to choose nice round, but not too round numbers: th

Nothing. The problem is when you obviously picked the rounded percentages that sounded good first and then calculated the number of votes from that.

One way to handle this might be to have the data hidden, but verifiable in the future. That is: publish a signed hash of the benchmark questions, and every X amount of time swap them out and publish the old ones. > I don't have a so

Does it do anything to help manage the .gitignore file(s)? Otherwise I'd think you have to specify the dependency in both places consistently, which sounds a bit tedious.

DES itself is an example of the NSA being ahead of the field. The designed the S-box to be resistant against attacks nobody knew about yet. Like the sibling comment points out, you're overstating the weakness of DES as well.

Even this court would have a hard time concluding that acts taken while running for President are official acts. But practically they've made the President a dictator, so yeah who's going to stop him if he wins.
