I can confirm this worked for me. The new UI is unbearably slow to use, and I strongly dislike the most popular subreddits.

Depends on the hobby. Individually hosted forums will most likely be your best bet here, though due to Facebook and Reddit they’ve been on the downslope.

Safari does support Webp as of Big Sur. https://caniuse.com/webp AVIF has a long road for support if Webp is any clue. I love the savings from AVIF but encoding takes forever compared to Webp.

I assume providers do this to prevent fraudulent signups - people signing up email addresses they don’t own and racking up your bill. I wonder if there’s a legal reason too.

If you’re using the JAM stack, other than your preferred browser and text editor, you’re pretty much set.

How do we know this “nuclear” option actually works if app developers haven’t implemented the feature yet?

The Windows Store on the other hand is an amazing example of what’s going on in the linked article - except on steroids.

I think it may be a result of the process being different on aluminum vs plastic and resulting in lighter, more washed out looking colors.

I dumped Chrome in favor of Edge on Windows, it’s just that much better in my opinion. Especially with the new vertical tabs feature. On Mac I use Safari, with Edge as my Blink test browser. As far as I can tell it does not use Keystone for

Deleting may not even be an option anymore. There’s several archival projects that save past tweets (the main one that comes to mind is archive.org). They most likely don’t save every single tweet, however the chances are high that whatever

I have the same feeling. The author’s description of Twitter is accurate, though I would add that is an ad-filled wasteland. I deleted Reddit when it was clear they wanted to commercialize everything that was good about it and introduced a
