Having recently started using ZeroMQ at work, I must admit that Pieter gave the world a really elegant message queue solution. The world is losing another great hacker. Would a black bar be considered?

How are they going to make you buy shiny new iPads otherwise? Edit: Why the downvote? I still have an iPad mini (1st gen), and I don't get to play with Swift Playground because iOS 10 requires iPad mini 2 or newer. Look, I'm as mu

It's not just bad business practice. At the company I work at, our anecdotal experience with Sonicwall products has just been shitty. You buy a router and you still need to pay extra to activate advanced features. What a shitty product

If I understand correctly, I think it is somewhat GPL-specific. You basically can't port fixes and new features from a GPL codebase to another codebase that is not under a GPL-compatible license. I think you don't have this issue

Mandatory XKCD reference: https://xkcd.com/1360/ My point is. The technical aspect of moving data around is actually not that challenging compared to the "business logic" of organizing your old files.

Just a gut feeling. Properly solving this might require solving the halting problem: you don't know the variable is unused until you actually evaluate the code. Otherwise you can only aim for detecting very trivial cases.
