Yeah, I had to switch to Vmware player due to crackling noise, VirtualBox devs commented somewhere that it's all very specific to hardware and not in their "main focus", so they don't seem to be very interested fixing it

Thanks for the impressive work! It was hard to dive into "details" paragraphs from fast reading, maybe second try will give more understanding. As an additional question: are there any more details about Raspberry Pi Foundation co

I don't think so. Maybe if I'd need it much more, I could somehow come up with greasemonkeying UI to use labels for this, but currently I think labels are more like folders.

Offtopic: the feature I lack is to permanently add some info (like tags) so that email is searchable by some keywords, but I guess that's harder to make (and should be done on gmail side).

I guess it would be nice to add sticky attribute for "smart hide" of sticky things, like show them when you scroll up a bit, but hide when you scroll down, just as recent Chrome started doing.

If you use oh-my-zsh, gcp is binded to "git cherry-pick" (with auto-completion etc.), so I did: sudo ln -s /usr/bin/gcp /usr/local/bin/cp_

Why wouldn't generating some hashed _id work? It would then scale for writes easily (or, as in current mongodb, you could use hash-based indexes). I'm just asking since Riak seemed much slower for me when I tried it.

Yeah, but type foo :: M a p f b c => (a -> p) -> b -> c -> a foo f b c = ... would look something like A foo<M<a>,p,f,b,c>(AP f, B b, C c) { ... in Java (I don't know Java, but I hope you gen an idea). I mean

The whole point I was talking about is that as soon as you're in monad, referential transparency becomes a bit a "lie", and a <- getA, b <- getA becomes non just analogous to a = getA(); b = getA();, but even worse in &

Yes. You're free to rename second a to b. The point I wanted to make is that it's the same getA, but anyone reading the code should understand that result binded to a and b will be different.

Yeah, I'm just saying that referential transparency and immutability often turn into a lie, since this code: https://gist.github.com/k-bx/594a415a06fdd0fc3841 could easily put 2 different values into `a` on each l

While I agree that Haskell is a great language and everyone should learn it because it's fun to play with it, I think solution to author's problems (and as a current evolution step) would be something like Kotlin. It's Java-l
