Fair. At least with LLMs I had the impression there is a fairly strong open source movement, even from some of the big players. Llama and DeepSeek aren't SOTA, but they get better at similar speed as the proprietary models, they are ju

"a sufficiently crazy JIT might claw some of those benefits back" Good point. If you know the data can't be accessed in parallel by the user code, that safety guarantee might allow the JIT to do it anyway.

Does this mean, we only get AI for a few months and then they will stop talking with us and move on?

I had the impression, ECS would boost performance mainly by allowing the systems to run in parallel on the entities. Isn't this kinda moot in a single threaded runtime?

As far as I know, we never observed a naked singularity. What we see of black holes isn't the singularity.

As far as I know, Aider uses the latest content of the file, each time you ask something. Btw. You can also trigger Aider via comments. This way you can mix it with your changes immediately. https://aider.chat/docs/usag

I think, the repomap is an AST that doesn't go down all the way.

Cursor does it. Cline doesn't. Aider goes the middle way with repo maps. Let's see what works best.

I switched to Busuu. It's very similar to Duolingo, but quite cheaper and has videos and certificates.

I'd assume these elements would be created in the sun and keep close to the sun, because of their higher mass.

But isn't this a good thing? I always try to avoid learning by pattern, because it would make me less flexible when composing.

I don't see MS as the problem, but the structure of how we, as a society, create and use IT. Signal uses DRM to protect its users from the OS. This is nice, because now they don't have to run to some other companies that could do

On the hardware you build yourself? I don't think so. The OS and the hardware become irrelevant when you run your apps behind DRM. At least one thing we can thank the copyright trolls for.

I'd presume, this is a logical conclusion of trusting trust. The moment you don't build your own device, TEE with provable encrypted executions or FHE is the only way to run reasonably secure apps.

If the idea is to have an alternative to CRDT, what did you gain from building it as CRDT?

It might just be my perception, but I had the impression Deno got his ass whooped by Bun and Node.js. While some people whine about the Node.js compat, I'd assume it's the main point that kept Deno on life-support in the long run.

I guess the question is, what does this survey try to find? I mean, a hot tub could be seen as bath, but it might not be related to cleanliness but more of a relaxation thing. Going swimming in a public path that is full of chlorine might h

Most of the year, I shower 2-3 times a week, but I wash myself with a washcloth on the non-shower days before going to bed. It's faster, cheaper, better for the environment, and probably better for my skin. However, in the really hot w
