I'm worrying; could it hide the effects of global warming? (or whatever name is used now) I'm afraid this could result in even less support from the governments and/or less effort to reduce emissions and other climate-changin

I hope Haxe[0] will make its way into this survey for next years, it's a solid JS (amongst other targets) transpiler alternative (better results than others, but less known). Also, seems like a translation string is missing for vim (di

Doesn't seem too bad to me with a bike and a city giving priority to bikes. Surely less convenient than using a car, but I guess you get used to it. Like you are used to do it in something like 25 minutes with a car, even though there

Individual actions are definitely a start, but yeah it sounds like almost nothing compared to corporations (or even governments, responsible for so many unnecessary plane travels). Is there some data on the actual scale of individual vs cor

Hi I'm Rudy, nice to meet you! Now you have one :) On a more serious note: 1. have one less kid. I really don't like how this one is worded, I always read it as "get rid of one of your kids". Though, except going from 1

I never used Haxe in windows. I agree that ten years ago tooling wasn't all that great (on linux at least), but now with the focus on VS Code we have a language server following Microsoft's LSP [0] that we can even use on other ed

React+redux (or just react) doesn't add much to websites. Maybe Vue.js would be a better fit when some complexity is needed in a website. I see React as a tool for building web applications, not websites. Using it for something like ha

Turns out apollo (graphql client for react) is doing more or less redux's work. I planned on using both at first when I started migrating to graphql, but quickly saw that indeed redux was becoming redundant when we use apollo. Especial
