Literally the best programmers and biggest companies in the world have given up on C because no one can actually write it securely. I promise, you're not as good at C as you've convinced yourself. Trust me, I've read this opi

Sugar is the hardest addiction and one of the most frustrating of my life. It is upsetting to walk through grocery stores, knowing what I'll find on the labels of 80% of the goods inside, brightly labeled, at eye height. It's tri

The site pretty clearly explains that the split repos are usable as normal git repos. And indeed I have a project I follow by cloning a josh managed repo. I didn't even know it was a josh repo until months after starting.

They put the fucking unlike button 2 pixels away from the fucking play button. In the app and notification widget. It's irreversible, permanent, and immediately unsyncs the song. There's no development team I resent as much as S

Luckily Forgejo has a blog with a days-old blog post that spells this out. The winds are clearly blowing in Forgejo's direction despite some doubt from me, early on.

I don't watch or read any mainstream media. Unsurprisingly this conversation plays out predictably. You have one note. Handwave and scream "the media" and deride everyone as stupid and MSNBC watchers. I have better things to

My parents own a gorgeous, huge custom home. It's in the middle of nowhere in Kansas. They have no community. They're in abject low grade depression except for the weeks bookending when they travel. My dad's losing it mentall

You're both clowns. It costs nothing to wave your hands and pantomime vague non-specific-to-absurdity conspiracy theories. Also, I've never heard a single person ever imply inflation is due to Putin. No, in fact the left is quite

I've never ever noticed blurriness from downscaled integer up-scaled Wayland apps. Blurriness is almost always due to use of xwayland. These are completely unrelated technically.

Don't use the HID port on the KVM. Aka don't plug mouse and keyboard into the mouse and keyboard port on the KVM. Pro: you shouldn't have the issues you listed. Con: you'll lose the hot key commands for the KVM.
