I use fastmail with my own domains. I got a separate domain for myself that I use for trashmails.

Why are you using Proxmox instead of just kvm? Are you running more than just Mac?

That is not the type of cruising this is referring to. It is the wrong name, to be fair. It really is just letting the car roll.

It has to do with that your feet or legs are not super accurate machines that can keep the pedal at 0 regen and 0 acceleration for long enough time.

I agree. It’s similar to the discussion of saving emergency by not using AC. No thanks.

Yes of course. These are very theoretical discussions anyways. In reality one pedal driving is quite awesome.

Well cursing in an EV is the equivalent of putting an ICE car in neutral. Modern ICE do that as well. To answer your question it still slows down due to wind resistance and friction.

Crusing is much more efficient than one pedal driving. So it does not save power at all.

I am trying to figure out the advantage. The way it is implemented now the App Store wouldn’t be fully independent anyways and still bound to review processes.

Considering I can install any app on the PC, this comparison doesn’t make sense. AFAIK Apple still reviews and gatekeeps any app. Even from other app stores.

But for what? You still need to submit your app through the Apple review process. If this was true Sideloading I’d understand but the way it is now I don’t see any advantage.

Why would a startup need their own store?

I joined a team that used AWS without kubernetes. Thousands of fragile weird python and bash scripts. Deployment was always such a headache. A few months later I transitioned the team to use containers with proper CI/CD and EKS with Te

I push for k8s because I know it. Why not use something that I know how to use? I know how to quickly set up a cluster, what to deploy, and teach other team members about fundamentals. How many people out there really need C# or object

Interesting that they avoid helm. It is the "plug and play" solution for Kubernetes. However, that is only in theory. My experience with most operators out there was clunky, buggy, or very limited and did not expose everything nee

If you go to the website, you can hide Shorts for 30 days. There is an X on the top right for the Shorts section. I do that and don’t feel like it’s being forced into my face anymore.

If you want to host your own stuff then you have to have spare parts in stock. Not the same as waiting for dell to RMA your GPU over days.
