Probably not since none of us know who this firm is -- and thus the hostname(s) and/or IP(s) used; we'd probably need to contact the author for that info. Once we know that, the regex would be dead-simple...

Well, you _can_ disable it, so no need to cut off your nose to spite your face. Unless you're boycotting Chrome on the principle of this feature.

I think it's easily worth $50 a year even for a single user with a personal domain, but then again, I'm kind of particular with my email. Whenever I need to use an email address, I use sitename.com@mydomain.com. Since only my family and fri

I don't think the Steam figures are indicative of anything other than the fact that gamers prefer Windows because it's still the only viable platform for mainstream PC gaming. And was Gabe explicitly commenting on adoption rate of Win8? Or

Oh look, a G+ clone... MS is so inept at anything "social", it's sad they even keep trying (but I guess if you have enough monkeys banging away on a keyboard long enough, they'll eventually pound out the next FB "killer"). The Messenger+Liv

What? While I can certainly appreciate fun in the workplace, that is not the central tenet of most businesses, and even at the places where it might happen to be that way then you're still going to require some "serious" apps, such as for e

Only 1 paragraph deals with PHP's reputation, the rest is geared towards those who actually want to learn PHP and/or improve their skills. To you: doesn't the fact that you myopically dismissed the entire article due to a single paragraph s

Are we talking about the same thing? http://www.crossbrowserbook.com/ and http://nathanbarry.com/app-design-handbook/ ??? Can you list a few items that you think are unique on the original site? I'm really struggling here.

Leave it as it is, since it's also used for webservers that would also be a different problem to solve (if it needs solving at all). The idea would be to relieve the JS community from having to continually support this meta-data retrieval.

The HTTP header would be disconnected from this effort, and wouldn't necessarily have to change. The UA object would be populated from what the browser knows about its own operating environment. Not looking to change the way anything works,

On a related note, something I've always wondered about is why there isn't a native host object that represents the UA? Is there anything, save for tons of live code parsing UA strings, preventing this? Seriously, even this 'lightweight' pa

Even with the default Android browser, or Chrome mobile, I have the same issues. I have to zoom 5x's just to click an up arrow (or many of the other links), and some of the text is just as bad.
