Listening to Paul Graham philosophizing about product ideas is like listening to product guys trying to talk finance.

Zepto doesn't support IE at all. I'm all for not spending much effort getting stuff to work in IE, but it seems like a bad idea to take it so far as to use Zepto.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like other browsers are free to implement the "pepper" API as well. It seems as though they are not saying "we're only supporting Chrome". They are saying "Chrome is the only browser that has implemente

If I can offer any constructive criticism it would be to get rid of the Facebook login stuff and just roll your own. Make it easy to connect with Facebook/Twitter/whatever, just don't limit yourself to Facebook users who are willing to conn

Very cool concept. I think you'll probably even get some good traction with it. Love the "sync" aspect of it that means everyone in a channel is hearing the same thing. By the way, the fact that you're giving tools to people who listen to a

This post strikes me as pretty arrogant, and maybe even a little deluded. 3-4 high-level Microsoft engineers are asking to join your startup every week, and you're sending them emails like that? If you can't afford to pay them what Microsof

The only reason this demo uses a lot of CPU is because it uses a lot of tricks to stay under 1K. Any JS guy could get the same result with far less CPU usage. Also, HTML5 has nothing to do with CPU usage. JavaScript performance (which is qu

Trust me, it's not good. It's not a matter of adding "rounding corners and other gewgaws" (which you already have on your site, I might add). It's about knowing what you're doing or hiring someone who does.

You're advertising an ability to make an ebook beautiful through formatting and styling, yet this is your Website: http://liberwriter.com/ I'd work on that if I were you.

Of course they want to make money though. They are a business. However, they've forgone more profitable business models in the past in favor of tighter control and they'll likely continue to do that.

You think Apple cares about locking down a device just for the sake of taking advantage of the ignorant masses? The truth is a lot simpler than that. They aren't trying to enslave humanity. They are just control freaks with a culture of cre

What's with people declaring things they don't like, or could be improved as "broken"? GitHub's forking is not "horribly broken". I like the ideas in this article, but they are just that: ideas.
