So true. It's very frustrating the way things are currently restricted. ITAR is really over-reaching in a lot of areas.

This. 100 times. I've had the same experience (and a few relapses, but I do know better).

Hm, appears to be missing a lot of smaller airports in the USA. My home airport (E45) in particular. I'm guessing it's only using airports that have commercial air carrier service of some sort.

How odd that I didn't really "notice" the look. This sounds like a useful service that fits in an area where Google Voice totally dropped the ball and Burner hasn't gone yet.

I've used it recently. Thanks for the obvious effort that went into it.

I wonder if this is why I've been having weird stalls and intermittent failures using GMail the last few weeks. Every time, I try it in Firefox or Safari and it works perfectly.

Yeah, it's always fun when I tell someone at we're 100% self-hosted too. They never stop to think that traffic, load, and usage patterns on craigslist are pretty well understood at this point. Plus it's certainly cheaper th

Do you find yourself needing other little helpers (panel applets) or just run xmonad as is?

I think that's exactly the idea. This gives them a native (owned) storage engine with far better concurrency and compression.

Same here. I remember wishing we could Open Source it back in the early 2000s. Good to see this coming out so people can take a little credit for work they did back in the day.

Good for you for saying so! I'm always "impressed" by folks who immediately dump on FREE software that doesn't meet their exact needs.

Could be. We build something similar using node.js and it's working quite well. Perhaps we can open source that someday...

Every 4-6 months, after reading some articles about tmux, I get the urge to try it again. And I always come back to screen for many of the same reasons (and the fact that it's not on a lot of systems by default). The session/wind

Authorization via sphinx? Interesting! In any case, we use Perl heavily at Craigslist and are helping to sponsor the continued work on Perl6. I don't think it's nearly as bad as people seem to think. But time will tell, of cour

I'd love to see that script. I'm a long time screen user and would love to find a few examples that'll show off what tmux makes easy.

pfSense is awesome. It won't help a lot with this specific problem (without a lot of manual work). But it's still a great solution. I've been using its multi-WAN capabilities on a Soekris box for a few years now.

Indeed. I've been using Ctrl-\ as my Ctrl-a in screen (and occasionally tmux). Turns out that I never use that keystroke in real life.

Ditto. The only reason I have a Galaxy S3 now is that I can't get the Nexus on Verizon. And where I live it's kind of a necessity to have Verizon support.

Agreed. I've used rsnapshot for years and am not sure how this script really differs (better or worse). I can say that rsnapshot is a real workhorse that gives me a lot of peace of mind.

Interesting. I've used the same trick with food. Buy a box of little debbie snacks or whatever, and instead of eating half the box, eat one and smash the rest into the trash. Next time don't even eat one--or just take a single b

"Latest technologies" might want to say "Proven technologies" since latest can imply bleeding edge and possibly unreliable to some folks.

Wow, is it just me or is Intel missing the market on this one? The price is about 4x too high for what you get (compared to other ARM based boards) and the size is a little big as well. Who is this really aimed at, anyway?
