That would be great if they could provide FTP info so we could finally go full circle and get back to uploading our websites with an FTP Client!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this feeling. I get that it's producing more views and you need to play the youtube game, but I miss a lot of content just because I decide NOT to click out of principle.

Algorithms in a nutshell by George T. Heineman helped me a lot. It's not too dense so it's easy to read, just enough to learn and understand how an algorithm works.

I used to work at Uber's Amsterdam office at a time where the remote nature of the office (from SF HQ) was a struggle for some teams because of strong dependencies on teams located at SF HQ. Sid came to the office and talked to us abou

What I've seen is generally the conversion happens once for the whole package, when you sign. So if the stock grows during your vesting period, the value increases (goes both way obviously). I think here they are mentioning value based

Just wanna say that I'm a huge fan of Kenji. His Youtube channel is simple, interesting and the opposite of snob. A true food passionate that is doing whatever he can to go against gate keeping. He's been inspiring me to cook more

I think this is pretty much what FTX.com is doing? It's trading derivative contracts on stocks; so if I understand correctly you can trade stocks (or even not-public companies) without the actual stock ownership.

Everything I see from Peter Norvig is just always so incredibly well written and coded. I'd love to know what it's like to work for him. Every year looking at his solutions for advent of code [0] brings just so much learnings. Str
