https://www.levels.fyi/ takes a good stab at matching up bands across companies. Seemed accurate to me last time I checked.

I always thought total comp and base salary would be the compensating signals for title inflation and lateral moves and all those transitions that aren't 1:1. Money is money after all.

that's interesting, so different locales around the world would operate on different editions. So in the locale you picked up where the old editions were useless they found a home elsewhere in the world. Cool stuff.

I was curious if they'd expand their services to have digital memorials for people uploading all their junk for public review for those interested in leaving behind such a monument. Maybe we can pay in advance for digital cemeteries th

it's an interesting strategy to monitize digital products in a different way. I wonder if the royalties work the same way under this scheme, they must right?

I wonder how these things even appear on the receipt; come to think of it I've never given to charity using these mechanisms I always give direct so I've never witnessed how such a transaction gets rendered on the receipt.

That’s an interesting angle, how ones B2B dedication and competencies align with business customers who have a lot on the line vs flippant and irritated end consumers playing with free products. The stakes are definitely not equal there.

There’s some truth to that sentiment about a bleak and grayer horizon. Now I shop in tech while looking over my shoulder waiting to get mugged by some shady dark patterns and outright user hostility. It’s not friendly solve my problems terr

You’re right there’s sort of less freedom of escape in this environment. It’s like captive prey pretty much. Good insight.

I realized in the recent past that another part of the picture that may be missing for the HOLDers is that the losses can be initiated by other parties. That is to say if someone liquidates a company and it gets bought for $X which is some

true, I think there's a basis for that. When you jump stores like enter a Sprouts freezer aisle you can get disarrayed from the unfamiliar brands and logos and all that and have to orient yourself first in those scenarios too at times.
