A nearly perfect description. (That is, barring the few cases where it _is_ legally possible to beat the house, e.g. card-counting in blackjack.)

I'm assuming that you don't know many farmers, then. It's not universal, but it's very common that farmers are self-incorporated businesses and that those businesses own the tractors. (In fact, this is usually a wise mov

A farmer owning a $250,000 tractor is a very different thing than a pilot owning a $250,000,000 aircraft. I would say that there is a much greater expectation that a farmer should be able to repair their own tractor, for example.

In a number of high-value cases, no one spent any money at all, just transaction fees; they traded to themselves to give the appearance of a higher price.

Even a few weeks of "brain fog" would be pretty devastating to my mental health, ability to earn a living, and ability to be an effective parent.

This doesn't look misleading to me. 5,000 events per month is very reasonable for a hobbyist project and the Prototype free tier is pretty generous as things go.

I mean, _every_ C-level leader needs direct communication with HR to properly staff their organization. That's why it's a top-level function, not a subcategory of something else.

Two remarks: * This feels way too hierarchical for the size -- there's significant distance from many employees and the CEO even at small sizes. * Could not disagree more with putting HR and Ops under the CFO (even in a 50-person compa

I get that the terms of the contest stipulated payout limitations, but $10,000 really seems like chump change for this bug. Bypasses all protecting, executed arbitrary code. That's worth a lot in the right hands.

The goal of warp drive is to produce a modified region of spacetime that makes it feasible to travel faster than light. There are an infinitude of different approaches. The authors in this paper find that if you impose specific constraints

What is a "helicopter router" (helicopter routing?)? That's the first time I've heard that term and it sounds interesting.

What's an example of an error that's undetectable? I'm a little confused about what that means. If an error produces no observable effect, it doesn't seem like it matters very much, unless I'm missing something.

I'm not familiar with the Windows version of ProcMon, but judging by the Linux version, that looks like it's primarily replicating the function of `strace` in a CLI GUI. Worth reading Joe Damato's excellent article on strace:
