I think it's appropriate for the audience. There isn't the same market for typefaces as there is for a smartphone app. Development of a high-quality typeface can take an extremely long time.

This could definitely be a first step towards building a CMS template.

Looks brilliant for mockups and simple layouts! I'd love to see the output for a more complicated layout. I'm definitely excited for this one.

Nice, but I find it a bit too hard to read. On my Stylebot style, I reduced the orange to just a highlight colour. I find it pretty pleasurable to use. Feel free to take anything from it that you want: http://stylebot.me/sty

That looks like a very poor, straight-up bad idea. The story was fun as a game, but I feel a lot of doubt that it would anything beyond laughable as a film. I wish them luck if they really want to do it, but I certainly won't be backin

Oh for crying out loud. This is a childish argument. Does every human endeavour need a quantifiable amount of "goodness" attached to it?

I love this and I think it's beautiful. Removing a lot of the symbols will make it far less scary and "techy". I'd really like to see it develop.

"Finally here is a logo designed in-house for some internal event at IBM." This is a logo by the legendary Paul Rand! They could hardly be more wrong. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Rand Fun post though.

Spot on. In a few years, cloud storage will be more acceptable, working photographers will be ever more tech literate and bandwidth will increase. I think you're totally right about Adobe too. Those Smart Previews they added for LR5 -

I was a professional photographer for a couple of years (as in, paid most of my rent with it until web dev became a more lucrative venture) and assisted some VERY big and experienced photographers. Everyone I know backed up on-site, using m

What exactly is so brilliant about naming a programming language after a porn star, especially one famous subjected to sexual abuse? How on earth is it a "subtle reference" to Ada Lovelace? What do they have in common, apart from

I love H&FJ fonts, but they're very vague about which typefaces you get access to. If I knew what they were, I'd be highly likely to sign up.
