I feel like you are trying to draw a false equivalence in both directions to create a loaded question. Obviously the parent is comparing housing of approximately similar value, with different densities and local amenities. My answer is neit

I think it’s more that management in this space is very traditional and from a business perspective there’s not much downside to a subscription. The individual engineers don’t really have a choice in cad package anyway and frankly, the alte

Realistically, how many people need and really expect high quality color prints? I’m sure the tech has improved marginally, but I was always disappointed as a kid with inkjet photo prints compared to professional prints. Most people would b

How is this different than patenting physical designs in practice? If someone develops a novel game mechanic there isn’t really a reason they shouldn’t be able to exclusively capitalize on it if someone else can patent something “irl”. If N

Note that there are other environmental trade-offs to be made. Cotton is know for requiring tons of pesticides. Wool production also often involves pesticides and neuro-toxic dyes. In Let My People Go Surfing Yvon Chouinard claims using “

Be aware, aluminum bottles (and cans, although they have recycle-ability benefits over plastic) usually have plastic liners. Glass (with its weight and durability problems), stainless, and titanium are good.

The blog has a toggle for darkmode and some of their images are black text with a transparent background. When darkmode is toggled, the text is effectively invisible, so in this case it seems to be an oversight of the blog.

Suburbs are absolutely not dense enough for great transit, and the per capita coverage is bad enough the expense isn’t worth it. They can get sparse bus or light rail coverage and thats it. Great transit offers coverage for stops every mile
