I was making a joke about the performance implications of a public SQL free-for-all, but I was probably being too subtle! That said, I applaud the creators of the site.

When I switched to Dvorak, I adapted pretty quickly to vim. hjkl are effectively exploded across the keyboard, and I had to adjust to that, but adapting to the new locations for other commands was easier if I thought about the semantic mean

It took me about 3 weeks to acclimate to Dvorak, but I actually used a copy of Mavis Beacon to help with the transition (no joke.) I mean 80wpm. It felt both faster and more comfortable after that.

The photos (and recipes) seem to be pulled from external blog posts (assuming with the authors' permission.) As a content farm, this is actually pretty decent. Ironically, nearly all of the "bros" who created these recipes se

In the long run, the distros are also a dead end. Neither Square, nor "Carlhuda" share the same commitment as Brian Moolenaar. If you find them useful then take advantage, knowing that they are only a fixed point within the ecosys

If you have the stomach for it, find a used copy of the "dragon book" [1]. I have the red one. LLVM is a modern "compiler infrastructure" project. It's textual intermediate language is relatively easy to write. If y

If I've got the story straight, this was the inspiration for Coffeescript. If you have the itch, but don't have forty dollars, you should check out the LLVM kaleidoscope tutorial [1] or read the LLVM manual and then check out my R

Hence the dig in the final sentence about "exploiting a narrow arbitrage opportunity." Knowing the author's work really changes how that sentence is read.

A Tesla representative gave a talk at my company recently, and supposedly the plan is to produce an EV at around $30,000. Tesla's supply-side partnership with Toyota still gives me hope for more affordable, ubiquitous EVs.

Speaking to his comments about Nginx, Cloud Foundry's routing tier does dynamically reconfigure Nginx without reloading the config files using some clever Lua code. WebSocket support has also been added to Nginx core.

I don't follow your second point. In what situation would one be offered this position when they do not already own the expensive car, and after accepting it, how would they be coerced into buying such a car in order to keep their job?
