Oh come on, you can't show that video w/o filming what happens when you try to touch the stream! *The reverse flow is quite mind boggling :O

Speaking of Comic Sans…here's a $100,000 rebranding for a town in Ontario - Port Hope. http://www.designedgecanada.com/news/2013/20130115688.shtml :P

It also appears to be instanced. After digging into the game info - it's not an MMO. Travelling between towns will be in a different mode/mechanic. Hope crushed…

Wow…just when I thought there was no more hope in MMO, this definitely revived my interest. I've always been a fan of: 1. Skill based system vs. Level/Class based system. 2. Looting Corpses/Houses 3. Player Housing 4. True/Open PvP Having s

I don't think it's that one. Time-wise, it doesn't add up. It's more likely it's the other link that's posted - the official FB Feed announcement.

We all are. It's just to different degrees and how we harness it - ie attributes such as self pride/confidence (positive narcissism) vs arrogance/grandiose (negative). Narcissism is getting a more bad rep due to today's over sharing platfor

This is probably my favorite redesign from a major company so far. Very minimalistic and clean. Also can't help but visualize how Instagram will come into play, with such a heavy emphasis on photos in this new update.

Same sentiments. I didn't get the game till the last 10 seconds - and up till that point, it was rather boring. But It's a beautiful looking game and when the light bulb went off of how the game is played, I will be downloading it. Perhap

Well, LV said 'They even managed to kinda lift the old DN icon :)' Don't know if 'kinda' is being used to soften the accusation or it's not a straight up copy - I can't see the icon they are talking about. http://designmodo.github.com/Flat

Does anyone have a active subscription to Layervault? Here's the Flat UI designs: http://designmodo.github.com/Flat-UI/ LV is saying that illustrations/artwork was the reason for the notice so if anyone have artwork on the dashboard they

I think we're all upset more about the attitude and approach of how LV went about this. You can't patent Colors / Helvetica Neue / Rounded Corner Squares. It just reeks of tactics similar to patent trolls. I think a while back there was blo

This is why we can't have nice things. Even Apple didn't even go after others when rounded corners, glassy/glossy, gradient buttons was the trend. (Yes, Apple didn't invent those, just as LV didn't invent flat UI or the art work - which btw

I tried Layervault, but I didn't like how it takes a 'snapshot' everytime I save - since I was saving to prevent crashes and losing my work, not because I felt it was it a good place to call it a separate version. Then I'd end up with a ton

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I've always had the interviewing companies pay for the tickets on their end and they (or their travel agents) would send me the confirmation email/tickets. Didn't know some companies are asking to pay for

Just a thought in this field of motion controls - could be cool to use gloves/finger/points of contact tapping as part of the motion/gesture control aspect - ie: tapping my thumb and forefinger together is 1 gesture, thumb and middlefinger

If you're using lorem ipsum to communicate pricing ($5/$4.99), how do client even know that's what it represents? Wouldn't it be better if you put that $5/month and let them know upfront copy/prices are not set - they are meant to communica

Personally, I find the concept of lorem ipsum or blocked out letters redundant - unless there is indication of what would be there. The most basic wireframes will be just boxes everywhere and I label the boxes, say 'Pricing Plan Feature'. N

Sim City should be a recommended game for those taking Geography, especially in HS. When I first started playing, I was reacting to situations - fires, disasters, as they happened, which was already too late. Or I'd build all the fire stati

One habit I developed was save often - meaning saving when it's not really at a version state yet. Why? Cause PS crashes every so often. So when I'm saving for a version, I save it as a separate file. The problem with detecting a save and t
