The average user doesn't understand TLS but they use it. The average user doesn't understand TCP but they still use it. That doesn't sound like a problem to me. Having signed documents isn't a bad thing.

It is, but it shouldn't be. We don't pay all of the other drivers on the road, but we do pay for the uber we're in. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect someone performing a commercial driving act to need to do

Imgur has had its own community for over a decade. This really isn't a good comparison; who stores their coats in someone else's closet and expect for nobody else to interact with it?

It's always alarming to see comments like this. I knew there were lots of you that hated the constitution, but that the disconnect is this far is hard to recognize.

If there's a zealous mindset here, I see it coming from this comment. It's significantly easier to use a 24-hour clock and get rid of AM and PM. In fact, it's so easy to use 24 hours that I use it exclusively for my internal

I fail to see the functional distinction of what you are trying to point out.

An hour? It is a very rare occasion that I spend more than a minute with launch options. Dealing with launch options was the case on windows, too.

Keeping windows around in any capacity takes more time. It only takes it deciding to overwrite your bootloader a single time to become an annoying time sink.

I'm not convinced that diluting it this far is a fully effective thought experiment. If you took half of that $900 and distributed it amongst 500,000 instead of 300 million, then it'd be a more formidable amount. I'm not sure

I've watched too many cashiers put their fingers in their nose right before someone came to their line. I'd rather skip out on their gross fingers.

Unfortunately, that's the last thing a lot of people want to hear, despite it saving a whole lot of heartache.

Even if you get by the legal implications, you still have to deal with building a sandcastle on a surface that wasn't designed for it. Yes, that has always been the case to varying degrees, but I think it can make a big difference, too

May as well skip out on them in person too. Let's just ignore all of our problems and put them under a blanket umbrella of "politics" and we can just exist as we are now, never improving.

Given that only 65% of people voted, the majority did not vote that way. Plurality is likely the word you're looking for.

A couple of months' notice? That's an eternity compared to what we have here. Where I live in the US, tenants have very few rights. You can get one month notice. And you can't change anything at all. Even getting them to wire

How many layers of complexity live in in your current arrangement? They're still there. I've owned my own networking hardware for a long time, and it's stable to the point that I essentially never touch it after minimal setup

I don't think it's the features that are lacking from the alternatives. It's the network effects.

This comes across as if you want people to work for your convenience but without paying for it. You are not obligated to the output of other peoples' work. The subway isn't open that early? It wasn't cost effective to pay the

Thank you for this post. I needed motivation to get up and put more time into something I'm working on that is large and draining, and this short video reminded me why it is important.

30 minutes? In what place is this 30 minute drive from a rural area to the urban center an actual thing? I live in a small metro and it takes 20 minutes driving to get to these things and that is good time compared to a lot of other places.
