I would like to see a comparison of the personal assistant functionalities that you are speaking of. This study did not cover them at all. I feel like they are a much more powerful use of these types of technology rather than just searchi

Semantics aside, my point is why would you not attempt to gain every bit of leverage that you can. There are no indications here that google is breaking any antitrust laws.

Sure, antitrust laws exist, but you don't handicap yourself before you're even breaking the law. And if you are breaking the law, then it is the justice system's job to stop you and that is who we ought to be upset with.

Why would google not promote its own services first and foremost? Why would they not use their market dominance to squash competition? That's how capitalism works. To not use their position to further advance their products would be

I came to say this, but also wanted to add that searching a voice communication is quite problematic compared to a written conversation. For evidence of how unclear it is, just look at the amount of times journalists use brackets to clean

You are incorrect on Running. I know lots of runners that use the time to think things through, and I know personally that I have come up with numerous creative ideas while running.

Actually, they are talking about combination pizza hut and taco bells, which are in the same building (and owned by the same parent company). So it is slightly different. They are literally the exact same location, not just close by.

Why would you even purchase an iPhone then? Why not just use a dumbphone/featurephone? It's like buying a sports car and putting a governor on it that won't let you go over 35mph because you don't have the willpower to

I think the debate is more about HOW we should break the cycle. No one wants people to keep being poor (maybe a very very small minority), but people disagree on how effective welfare (which seems to be what you are advocating) is at break

I think more developers should "have a spine" by telling their employers that they refuse to work more than 40 hours a week. That's where the industry needs to grow a spine. You started off on the right track with this line
