Haven’t looked at this yet but have been amazed at rsync for a similar task. Used it to deploy and maintain a retail digital experience across a few dozen stores more than a decade ago and it was great. Use it for small home projects now.

Built an e-commerce site in 1998 using net objects fusion. Had no idea what I was doing but it helped me learn quickly.

Thank you for this nuanced, probably-took-more-than-5-seconds research. What is difficult to stomach is that level-headed people will look beyond the clickbait to frequently find a logical explanation that makes sense...but a large number o

They published a nearly layman friendly doc of the platform architecture including a description of moderation a year ago. Great read. https://docs.bsky.app/blog/blueskys-moderation-architecture

Feel like this especially true in design systems where they went as far as a few dozen atoms but did not progress to molecules or components (insert corollary term here). This exposes a lack of understanding the business and user needs.

My favorite part about design systems is when they are created in a vacuum devoid of either content strategy or technology/engineering so they look dope af but solve nothing for activation or delivery teams.

As much as I like my Internet free as in beer, I do think that in order to transition from ad-supported content platforms, some form of micropayment or subscription model works best to support creators and bastions of intelligent discourse.

I can second the recommendation of Forbidden Island. Got it for a 9yr old and it has been a big hit with the kids. The cooperative goal was a huge draw for me -- "we" win the game together, no one person can win. The kids are comp

Completely agree. I'd love a laptop that performed as well as the 2012 MBP I lug around, with updated ports, less weight, and more RAM. I don't need a touchscreen function row. I don't want Windows, dropping Linux on an Asus

I got a 500 response and a HostGator error page. I thought you were making a point about making sure your website is up or at least not running campy error messages with a cartoon alligator.

You're right, it's not that bad from a delivery perspective. We're getting some stuff faster than before. To some degree my frustration is in the semantics. It does get practical when bringing someone onboard who has worked i
