After you create an account or click "continue without an account", all errors/crash reporting can be turned off from the Settings page. In the future, we'll add an option to turn this off in the initial page.

We started building the app about two years ago where these frameworks were a lot less mature (and I still think Electron is the most battle-tested today). If we were to start over, I'd definitely consider Tauri or using Rust directly
