I own an Epson EcoTank ET-2650. Despite costing more than traditional inkjet printers, I find that build quality is not that great (cheap creaking plastic, scanner bed occasionally detatching from its hinge). Another issue I have with it is

Apparently it depends on the hardware. And by that I don't mean whether you have a powerful CPU/GPU combination. If you're lucky, it's smooth as butter. Personally I'm in the unlucky group (i3-6100U + HD 520). Work

Your best bets are GrapheneOS or CalyxOS. In both cases be prepared to sacrifice a lot in terms of convenience (more with GrapheneOS).

No, but (at least in my country) most banks have used the PSD2 directive as a way to phase out HW tokens and force their proprietary apps to customers. But PSD2 does not really say this is required to comply. The only alternative they offer

Beside the Dell XPS Developer Edition (that you already mentioned) I would consider the following: - Lenovo laptops with Fedora preinstalled[1] - Clevo and its HW customers: System76 and Tuxedo being the most notable ones (I think) - Purism
