Hello, thanks for open sourcing this. I mean no disrespect, but why do you think you failed to sell? E.g. do main stream engines have this functionality already, or some other reasons?

It has changed a lot, but server-side rendering seem to be making a comeback [0]. We might be able to blow the old dust of the old Java Struts. Or is it Spring, or Liftweb, or some other new shiny? Scratch that - things have still changed a

Oh man, Macromedia Fireworks was great. Folks made the most beautifully unique websites with it. I wish the app, and those design sensibilities could have survived. The web and app ecosystem today would be less monotonous and more fun to ma

When I was a kid, we'd dig a large hole in the garden, then pop some chlorine and milk in a plastic coke bottle, quick shake, then dump it in the hole and all my mates would very quickly push the soil back onto it. Boom, and "die

I would like to be given both choices: rent or buy. E.g. I would not mind renting TV, because I like getting fresh stuff every month. But I would like to buy Photoshop, since it's not a core piece of my life, and I'd be content wi

Lockdown has affected a lot of us severely. There's no shame in talking to a professional. Your local health service might help you narrow down who you need to talk to, e.g. psychologist, occupational therapist, etc. You might have dep

Yes, I have a couple of notebooks. One for doodles and the other for journaling (the kind of stuff which oughtn't go on my blog). But I have to say, I've received the new ReMarkable2 [1] about a week ago, and it's awesome and

I started a masters this year and my word count went from 3K last year to 38K in 2020. There's also my pencil & paper journal for mindfulness and "life" entries which is maybe a couple of pages per week.

Personally, I don't go for gamedev tech books, as they date quickly. Perhaps pick up something a bit more timeless on game design , e.g. MIT's Playful Thinking series [1] or some of the other classics in the field, like "Gam

One has to commend the BBC for sticking to things like the 3-parter miniseries. It's 2-3 hours of your life you've spent watching a quality drama with a conclusion, and no cliffhangers / "possible second season".
