Siemens Disccontrol. I own one, it’s great. Cooking with touch controls is nuts. Especially those with a modal toggle (select burner, then increase/decrease intensity, crazy). Sadly discontinued. https://www.siemens-home.bsh

I picked up a (very) cheap Acer Spin 1 as a dedicated machine for embedded development. 250 euros. Meant for Windows 10, but unusable for that with its 32GB of eMMC. With a bit of effort installed Ubuntu 18.04 on it. Works great! Wifi, touc

I'm actually super happy with this feature. I don't actively develop on our product, but I do have small changes every now and then. Typically small bits of polish, but they often require a commit in multiple files. And I'd l

It's deep geothermic energy, you gotta drill >500 meters to get to it. So indeed not as easy as for example Iceland.

Seriously cool. Great work. I did get a glitch every now and then in the rendered output (say 1 out of 5 times) using Safari 10.1.2, MBP touchbar 2016 15", Radeon Pro 460 4096 MB.

The Club 3D USB-C to HDMI 2.0 is perfect. I use it at the office to drive a LG 65" 4K screen at 60HZ for presentations from my MBP 2016: http://amzn.to/2hkM3hK

Nah. USB-C to USB3.0-A is trivial. It's just a simple electrical connection, without any signalling logic (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, I like that it's just a conversion plug versus a cable: https://www.aliexpr

Just to chime in. Since the displeased are always loud. I got my maxed out TouchBar MBP 15" about two weeks ago and I'm really happy with it. It replaces a Mid-2010 MBP 17". It's light, fast and has a gorgeous screen. Af

Hmm, since there is currently a great Airport with 802.11ac support out there, what would Apple develop right now? Might it be that they'll come out with a new product when 802.11ax is due to ship, which might be a few years down the r

Yeah, this discovery has serious implications on fighting climate change, since methane emissions from cows is a large share of global co2e emissions. Interestingly, I heard that the particular seaweed that is effective is not commonly foun

Bah. Everyone is dismissing the Touch Bar without actually playing with it. I think it's a great new experimental HID, and if any company can execute well on something like this, it's Apple. The same goes for the Surface Dial. Coo

I think these look amazing. I've always wanted a pair of tiny bluetooth headphones + mic that don't suck. I am sure that Apple will live up to its quality expectation... if they do, I won't be sad that the stereo-minijack is

Mayonnaise is almost never made with 100% olive oil. It will dominate the flavor (sharp/grassy/bitter). A dash is fine, but a neutrally flavored vegetable oil like canola, rapeseed or sunflower oil is typically used.
