Just to be clear, this isn't (yet?) a make or break deal. We have a child together and have just entered into a mortgage. I may change my mind to make her happy. She may change her mind because our financial situation has changed (mort

If she wants to buy her own jewellery with her own money, that'd be similar to myself buying scam coffee. Unfortunately, that's not what is being proposed (heh).

My partner and I have been having an argument about rings for a long time now. I have told her that I'm willing to buy a man-made diamond, but she won't have any of it. "I'd rather have nothing than a fake". It does

That was such a small part of the article I don't think it's even worth calling out. Sibling comment mentions the relevancy to the actual graphic, that's probably all it is. Author also called out her own negativity previousl

Thanks for the reply. I'm wondering how you would share the location of the file between jobs though. Can job 1 output a file location that job 2 accepts as an input? I see there are plans to write up some documentation, but are there

I have a workflow that I'd really like to automate/rewrite. A wav file is generated on a remote server. That server will rsync/scp it to a processing node. The processing node will query a database, and write out a text file

We use Django for legacy databases, both as a readonly way to access data in a managed data warehouse and to replace an application that had not the nicest schema to begin with. Routers to the rescue. Of course if the database you're w

Is there an easy way to check our own servers? I can see the fix is to add !EXPORT to the end of the cipher list, but how do we check that the server requires the fix? Really disappointed with this announcement. Some of the other named expl

No, there won't be. If you upgrade to 1.5, then 1.6, then 1.7, then 1.8 using the release notes from each version, that's your best bet. Any guide moving from LTS to LTS would just be a copy paste job between incremental versions
