I was trying to get on the ryanair site a few days ago but the site was too busy. Perhaps this was the reason. That being said this is an over-reaction.

Surely they don't have enough data on the startups that didn't make it, that didn't have a high profile. Will the algorithm not tend to be very optimistic?

I think people sometimes vote for things, not because they agree with them but because they know other people won't and they're interested to see what the reaction will be. It's the online equivalent of 'Fight, fight, fight'!

Here's one: mac &infinite-loop ( body) { `do () { $@body }} S-expressions are permissible, so maybe it would be best to stick to those until you wrap your head around this crazy infix notation.

I like it. There seems to be a lot of negativity here but I think it could have a lot of value, especially if you needed to wade through large volumes of text.

Its not that bad. You played it down quite well. I'm no expert but that red clashes with the lime green. I'd suggest using a pink. The blue writing is a bit hard to read, perhaps make it a lighter blue. To be honest I wouldn't change it too

The fact that you only have one way of programming in C, 'the C way', can actually be a blessing. I've found that I've been paralyzed by the flexibility of Lisp. There are so many different ways to do the same thing that it is hard to choos

I think this is quite interesting. On one hand we have an investor saying things you would expect an investor would say (grow as much as you can). On the other hand we have an owner saying things you would expect an owner would say (my busi

Presumably there are other digital cameras that do not make a sound when taking a picture and these are the ones that are used. My gripe isn't with Apple but the legislation which I imagine hasn't really amounted to much.

Presumably people who like taking upskirt shots won't use the new iPhone and less nefarious iPhone users will all have to suffer the obnoxious shutter sound. This is nothing more than tokenism and hence I won't be dispensing any brownie poi

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Javascript. I'm just saddened that we didn't get a complete Scheme. Things like, for example, metaprogramming are massively helpful when interacting with HTML. Collectively we all might have had a lot le

A Nazi can do perfectly good rocket science. But can a Nazi be trusted to do good science when it comes to race, sexuality or disability? There are times when a person's background and motivations must be weighed against their position.

What is interesting though is that no matter how unoriginal the question are we still don't have accepted answers, which suggests that it isn't time to stop asking the questions (which is unfortunate for those who are sick of the questions)
