Yes, but the risk is death and there are alternatives that do not appear to have this risk. Why not pause until it is more well understood? In the US, the other vaccines are starting to become really readily available.

I'm confused? I made no claim at all regarding the Chinese. The article that you've pointed to is a fairly low number relative to the Palestinian population, is it not? I'm not saying that you are wrong, I just feel like I&#x

Can you provide a reference for this claim that Israel offered the vaccine and was rejected? I have no claims one way or another, just trying to understand it from unbiased (or at least minimally biased) sources.

I think Israel is kind of plateuing at around ~55% of the population vaccinated? I'm sure it will continue to increase, but the rate of increase seems to be slowing. I'm not seeing much evidence that the US will stay lower than th

This is so underrated as a comment, but so true. Samsung just kept at it with incremental updates to a single series and an occasional separate model if they wanted to try something new. LG was constantly shifting markets. I had a G2 and re

AFAIK, it also overheats under CHAdeMO charging in very cold temperatures. I don't think it was the climate, just saving $$.

I think that would still that would still be 40% or more higher than our worst flu season? Its definitely getting into the same order of magnitude at that point, though. It'd be hard to argue for stringent lockdowns, IMO.

I think that is going to depend on your definition of "significant". I think at best we would have similar numbers to Israel right now by then. That would still represent >250 deaths per day. (EDIT: If there is some reason that

I'm not seeing any evidence that eradication of a virus like this would have been at all likely, even with extreme measures.

That would have worked if they had built something that was actually good. I mean, Google did pretty well with that strategy. The Mach E is a great competitor too.

Yeah, and its not like the Leaf is great. It is fairly recent that they've started making cars as good as the Model 3 and Y.

I'm not convinced that the systems currently being fielded by their competitors are better than beta quality either. Somehow they get away with it.

To be fair, its easier than that. You can get a really close approximation just by using their speeds on a level closed track, ideally on a fair-weather day.

Given the early stage, I find the idea of anyone having an "unassailable lead" to be laughable. The idea that the one with such a lead is Tesla is even more laughable, and I say that as someone that actually likes some significant

Yeah, I've been criticizing the article for that. Its missing the forest for the trees. The real range matters a great deal, as do other metrics like miles added per minute charging. This report focuses on the least relevant bit.

In some ways they are. Run the test in one exact way and those are the results that you'd expect. Run it differently and the results will vary in fairly predictable ways too.

No. The analogy would be that every butcher sells meat by the lb, but some include an extra .1 lb, and others include an extra .05 lb. And then a third party comes along and calls you deceptive because they measured yours at .9lb when measu

I'm seeing very similar issues. Google seems to heavily favor sending people to the sites with the highest content volume instead of the highest quality content. The worst thing is that content creators are manipulating this to build c

I'm curious how dividend yield and DCA factors into that, though. Would a series of investments since 1989 still have underperformed bonds? And even if DCA weren't factored in, how would the returns compare?

When people call .class files portable, they mean between platforms that have a JVM available and can pass the TCK. Platforms that do not aim to do that are not really relevant.
