They've been fine on the battery front for a while, the explodey Galaxy Note was a decade ago. They're understandably quite conservative about charging speeds and adopting new battery technologies now. Edit: or maybe not, see the

To be fair this years Pro models are thicker than last years, and most of that extra space went to a bigger battery. Maybe not as big as you'd like, but it's something.

LLMs aren't doing journalism on their own, whatever mistakes they make are compounded on top of any mistakes that the actual sources (such as the BBC) might have made.

Rumour is that Samsungs similar Galaxy Edge isn't doing any better, apparently they initially wanted to replace their longstanding Plus model with the Edge next year, then they decided to keep the Plus after all, and now they've p

I assume they mean a web browser has root access to everything you do online, which is so far-reaching nowadays that it's not far from having root over your whole machine in terms of actual exposure.

It's also the endgame for romhacking, once a game is fully decompiled modders can go far beyond what was feasible through prodding the original binary. That can mean much more complicated gameplay mods, but also porting the engine to r

Interesting idea, but the generic green PCB is a bit of a missed opportunity. Some manufacturers now offer transparent solder masks which emphasize the copper traces and can look really cool with a clean PCB layout. e.g. https://
