I like the idea behind Tile, but there've been so many times where the tile I had was sitting within 3 ft of me but my phone couldn't locate or ping it.

ah, nice. Can't remember if it was Hive or a different faction, but while playing the core game of D2, I thought it was nice because the environment you dealt with them reminded me a lot of Alien (without the xenomorph, obviously). I t

Is it? I only played Destiny 2 and from the parts I really got into (pre-expansions), I didn't get a very medieval fantasy vibe at any points. Most of the architecture was fairly modern or alien. Was nice though. Anthem has some buildi

If that were the case, why didn't Microsoft's WMR partners blow everyone away (pretty sure 100% have used inside out tracking which prevents the station setup of Vive/Rift plus the lower barrier to entry PC specifications)? I

They have announced xCloud, yes, but have they announced the business model/pricing? So far, pretty sure the answer is no. So it may be a subscription, but it may also end up being akin to renting a VM with GPU in Azure. Time will tell

can't speak for Steam Link because I have one, but it was more headache than it was worth to get running. That said, I had my Bootcamped MBP with a XB1 controller connected over Bluetooth and any input lag was negligible with the Assas

I used the precursor of Stadia, Project Stream. There were moments where the video went fuzzy, but for >95% of the time, it ran fantastic. My gaming PC setup is an i5/16GB RAM/GTX 1080 and it stutters more than the stream did (

Game Pass works because you're essentially temporarily unlocking a library of games to be downloaded to your device. It really isn't an indicator they're moving in the same direction as Stadia. It is kind of another beast alt

which browser are you using? From the anecdotes here, it looks like Firefox works on at least Debian and Fedora, so maybe Firefox does something with the user agent to prevent saying what platform it is on.

This is looking at Alexa, most likely in smart speaker or some variant form, as the endgame which I don't think it is. My guess is that it and its competition is more or less a MVP to use audio for input and output and to understand ho

Dunno, seems to me a subset definitely took ethics in games journalism to an extreme. Are they the most vitriolic? Don't know. I tend to avoid such groups so I can't say. But they definitely made a bit of noise.
