It would seem to be bowing to what their customer base wanted (whether their customers realized it or not). Most of my personal/work devices are Windows and prior to the big change, on each one I'd have a virtual machine with a li

I believe the person above was saying that those who are most inclined to believe in the concept of a soul would find the importance of a definition of what a soul is to be on the low end of the totem pole. I'm not a huge fan of things

I wonder if this has a solitaire game that was in some random CD of various games I had way back when. I believe it was called Thieves and Kings, but essentially, you had a 4x4 grid and your stack of cards. Jacks go in slots in the 2 center

I'm curious, can you "upgrade" your car after the fact? Buy it and then later on call Tesla and pay for the software-controlled 'upgrade' you declined before? Is there any negative financial impact to it (are there

My guess is the main goal is to recoup R&D prior to a proper consumer launch. And you know what, I'm fine with that. Personally, I'm holding out for gen 2-3 of this form factor when the price comes down to Earth. But smart of

My guess is because the people who found the Higgs boson, landed the lander on the comet, etc. are for all intents and purposes not well known: there wasn't a lot of fanfare for them so much as the discovery. As such, people are oddly

This seems strange to me. If we're going as far as to advocate cycling tracking IDs each month, that means that at each switch, we've lost our "relevant" ads until we rebuild them up. So why not go full on no tracking ID

In theory, it kind of is: as far as I’m aware, which I haven’t delved deeply into it so grain of salt time, but it doesn’t send data until you make that decision. And it isn’t like you have to dig for it: it’s presented to you explicitly. Y

I completely agree and I’m in the same boat (I’ll continue to use VS Code). That being said, it’s somewhat amazing we are now in a time when a Microsoft product could have aspects users don’t approve of and rebuild it without it: everyone w

My guess is that if anything, they'd turn Atom over to an external body to maintain and let it sink/swim on its own. Currently they seem to be fine with having both, which is cool. Maybe it is to have two separate teams work on di

The difference seems to be that most journalists report on the leaked documents, whereas Wikileaks essentially data dumps it. Not saying them releasing Podesta's emails was bad, just I don't think that's what journalists typi
