It's getting shared on Social Media. People talk about it and likely never experience it. It's the same principle with the "creepy clowns" a while back. https://mediashower.com/blog/how-clowns-did-th

As a former CRO and regional GM, financial statements are not that secret. Public companies disclose that every quarter. Private companies need to disclose this if they want to get financing.

The future of payouts will be omni-chain. Now that ETH is PoS, it is actually one of the benefits of the move, that there is a treasury with non-random payout cycles.

We were evaluating ETH payouts for Finclout and at the time transaction fees was a huge barrier. We are currently working with the Cardano chain because it allows for a min payout of 1 ADA which makes users happy when they get payouts more

The comparison worked for Facebook at the time, because having a directly reachable and targetable audience was groundbreaking at the time (2006-2012) In 2022, audiences are everywhere and getting them stratified and connected is not hard.

You are conflating several topics. (Background: through Ternary we run the Red Bike validator nodes on Cardano). 1. If you want to run a validator node, i.e. run the architecture you need to have 32 ETH to be eligible to provide this servic

The way we use it in our apps is to take a pool of identified experts for a search query, augment it with relevant news from other sites about the topic, sprinkle a little bit of quantitative KPI data over it, calculate various NLP scores,

Also from a service provider / architecture view there is a huge concentration on AWS [1]. So while the nodes might appear large in numbers, if AWS goes down (which is not entirely unheard of), the nodes go down with it. [1] https:&#x

The irony in the social graph is that it is an insufficient approximation of people's interest. Initially in 2003 this might have made sense. I.e., I like what my friends like. Yet 20 years later TikTok claims to have cracked the holy

Yes social is changing. The initial value proposition of sites where we needed platforms to stay-up-to-date, meet new people, and communicate with each other can now be replicated easily. Most social sites have stayed in the UI paradigm of

I have never worked for Google and likely never will. Stories like these make me wonder why we put X-Googlers on such a high pedestal. I don't mean that personally in an offence to anyone. It's just a general observation.

That's the lessons learned for me at least. An algorithm that you don't know how it works decides that you are not fit for the role. Even though the algorithm is provably wrong. Feels like Kafka's The Trial. Really Dystopian.

Well, I put my spec into the Job Description (JD). If a person applies I can match this to what I expect from the role. The more an applicant has to offer the higher the score. This is just an abbreviated example for an Accountant Score 1.
