I was speaking about Paypay in a gMail exchange yesterday and today saw an add about Paypay on my Smart TV (YouTube App). Weird coincidence. The first time ever that I have seen a Paypay ad on Youtube.

Well, most of the ratings are done based on financial statements. The problem we are seeing is that losses in held-to-maturity securities do not show up in these financial statements and might create a liquidity crunch in case of a bank run

We used to call that concept matched-funding where I used to work and it was quite an important part of Asset/Liability management within the Risk Management function.

The joy of exploitative recommendation algorithms. I had a discussion with my daughter about TikTok's Glamour Filter the other day and now my whole feed is full of glamour filter posts. This is so unhealthy (mentally).

My workflow is slightly different. 1. Use a python script to iterate over model, seeds and prompt (pos/neg) variations 2. Use the resulting image in img2img or ControlNet for further processing 3. Use photoshop for finalizations.

For now GPT is creating the filler content that moves the Web in 2023. But, given the results I have seen from our PoC's, it can do more and will do more in the future.

For most of our models we return more information. Especially if you look at it from a vendor/customer perspective I believe this to be quite important.

The problem in a nutshell, and the one the FTC had pointed out, is Model explainability. I was working in the past of an AI for automated lending decisions. We were asked to be able to explain every single decision the engine took. If now a

We are working on an AI product in a highly regulated industry (Investing). Recently we have been experimenting using the GPT3 API as a Junior Equity Analyst. On an eyeball check the results of the technology are impressive. The problem is

The difference to the last 120 years is that after the Internet brought the cost of distribution down to almost 0, now the cost to create clips and movies will follow along the same path. Why pay an actor/actress when you can now gener

We are so close to this reality. I made this TikTok video through a workflow of Stable Diffusion (Python), DeepCQ/Finclout, ElevnLabs, and Di-D. And if I with my limited ability can reach this level, someone with more able hands (and b

I think so too. AI might affect applications like Photoshop if the result of the provided output is good enough. Stable Diffusion is going into this direction. While ChatGPT is nice, real authors and journalists create value by bringing in

Well it depends on the business model. I don't see ChatGPT making lending decisions at this point. Firstly, because all of this information will be shared back into the model and secondly, from a compliance perspective credit decisions

It is important to manage the human/AI interaction in the right way. Asking conversational AI for the truth won't work because they are not built in this way. At least for now. We applied this insight in creating TikTok videos.
