I got tired of GoDaddy a while ago and moved all of my domains to NameCheap. They've been great, although private registrations cost a couple dollars after the first year. Edit: http://www.namecheap.com

Microsoft will have to get on board. It's pretty much a given that this will go in the Chrome OS, so I can't imagine MS just letting google check off that feature.

I'm waiting for them to reject a paint/drawing app of some sort for "illicit content" after an app store reviewer draws an inappropriate picture.

Given that the article author is a Rails developer, I'm assuming they out-source the support on their Rails apps. Still odd, but I can definitely attest to more bigger companies moving to Rails, with yet more anecdotal evidence :)

This is great news. Now, if only the iPhone web app of Gmail supported sending from different accounts this would be perfect.

This does look like a ton of fun, though the "hose" attachment didn't seem to go too far. It's also not cheap. But kudos to the developer of the thing! It's an incredibly original invention and application. Plus, since it runs in the wat

This is good advice. One thing I prefer that's different from the article is squashed merges from a branch I've been working on, that makes it really easy to undo any changes. The syntax is easy, also: git merge --squash branchname

I know Apple has been arguably hostile towards developers with the app store approval process but it's got to be really demoralizing to have your app verbally approved by someone so high up and then taken out of the app store entirely after

I really would have liked some more background to his statement on Tokyo Cabinet's tables other than saying that "they basically suck." I've never heard this before and couldn't find anything on Google to support that.

Since food is always available to your cats, you probably wouldn't have gotten the same cry the study suggests. That cry is just for food and supposedly hits the same frequency as a human babys. So, cats aren't exactly controlling their ow

I saw that. It sort of struck me as a company learning from their mistakes. I still think extrapolating a bait and switch doom and gloom catastrophe is a bit much :)

This is a pretty dramatic conclusion to draw from seeing one app that charges $0.99 and a monthly fee. If you look at the screenshot in the article, it seems to make it pretty clear that it's $9.99/month for the turn by turn directions asp
